Software Development Engineer
Samaa has only recently become a developer. In a former life, she obtained a Masters degree in law. After graduating she started out in the tech industry, working a range of jobs from Project Manager to UX Researcher. She went through a career change to become a developer in 2020, of all years.She is currently a Software Development Engineer at Rome2Rio, with a focus on backend development, mainly using C# and .NET.
To this day, one of her proudest accomplishments is setting up a coding school for refugees. When she's not busy with code, you might find her at a ramen bar, singing karaoke, hiking, learning to play the guitar, or just binging the latest reality TV show.
